32 weeks...

Workout clothes this week... oh well
How far along?  Past 32 weeks... on our way to 33!!!
Total weight gain- still around 25 pounds
Baby Related Purchases-
We bought the conversion kit that goes with our crib.  We also got a swing with some Babies'R Us credit!
Stretch marks- nope
Movement- Still tons of movement.  She loves the right side.. that is where she lives and doe her flips.
What I miss- Running and normal clothing...
Cravings- Nothing specific... just want to eat all the time.
Anything making you queasy or sick- Some heartburn, but oberall better this week!
Gender- Girl!!!!! Check out our thoughts on our little girl :)
Labor- not yet! I think I am the only person who wants to go past 40 weeks... my goal is to make it to my spring break.
Symptoms- This was a jam-packed week, but luckily I still had plenty of energy.  But it was so weird, I have not had any swelling... I can still wear my rings and everything.  Then one day I came home this week and I had swollen ankles!  Not horrible, but obviously not my ankles.  The weather got warmer here... I wonder if that contributed.  Oh well, hopefully they don't get too bad!
Worries- This was a rough week.  Things have just been so busy, I have felt like it has been hard to keep up!  School and getting ready for Bailey... and I would much rather do the latter.  I had to let go this week... and remember I am not in control of all of this anyways.
Best moments of the week...
*Taking time right now to sit in relax... feels like the first time all week!
*Birthday Lunch and Mardi Gras Parade
*More good times to come :)
Looking forward to...
*Finishing up the nursery!
*Mardi Gras Break and parades in general!
*Meeting Bailey Drew... not too long now!!!!
Size of baby- weighs as much as a large jicama
What the baby is up to- (from babycenter.com)
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

To do lists...

I have rarely met someone so reliant (and moderately obsessed) with to do lists.  There is a whole system I use... organized chaos really.
I start with one of those portfolio folders that has a legal pad on one side.  The folder side is where I put odds and ends that have to do with completing the to do list.  The legal side is a weekly to do list
that has to do with all of the personal stuff I have to get done.  I redo this one once a week.

Then I have a composition notebook that I also keep inside the portfolio.  This has my daily school to do list.  I redo this one everyday... there is just so much school work to get done! However I would much rather do the things on my personal to do list than my school one (it is happening right now).

There is also a whole system of highlighting I use at times that indicates when I am going to do what.  Sometimes I will number things by priority... but I really just like to start with the easiest or quickest thing.  In fact sometimes I put things on my to do list that are done... just so I can cross them off.  I get way to much joy from crossing things off my to do list.

My husband does not understand.  In fact I will try to write him a to do list from time to time.  He doesn't even cross off the items he is done with... that is the most fun part.  He also thinks I spend a lot of time making and maintaining the list... which is probably true.

So I have been pondering trying to go paperless with my to do lists... do any of you do this?  I just downloaded the paperless app.  I just am having trouble transitioning to use it.  I can't get used to the new system... I just need to make myself make the change so I don't have to carry around the bulky to do list. We'll see how I do!  Any other recommendations for my transition to paperless???

Total weight gain- still around 25 pounds
Baby Related Purchases-
We had our New Orleans baby shower!  Here is some of the wonderful gifts!  I only have a couple of these pic right now...
Amanda making sure Bailey loves Disney from the beginning!
Hand-made pillow from Allie

This week I had some thoughts on all the baby stuff... still trying to sort the necessities from the nice-to-haves from the don't-need-at-alls!
Now that we have had the last shower we are trying to make a list of the things we really actually need versus those that we will need later, versus those that we don't need at all.
We came up with these things that we need now:
*Swing
*Diapers/Wipes
*Pack'N'Play Sheets
*Baby carrier of some sort
*Diaper changing pad cover
And these things we will need later
*Crib bedding
*Mattress cover
Stretch marks- nope
Movement- She has been moving like crazy this week... she has officially learned to do somersaults!
What I miss- I really missed normal clothes this week.  I still wear a lot of non maternity clothes... tried to wear one outfit Friday to work and it was an epic fail.  I was just uncomfortable all day.
Cravings- Just want to eat all the time...
Anything making you queasy or sick- Heart burn is still around at night... but I just love to eat
Gender- Girl!!!!! Check out our thoughts on our little girl :)

Size of baby- weighs as much as 4 naval oranges
What the baby is up to- (from babycenter.com)
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. She's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
