Brain dump...

I haven't been blogging too much lately... but have a ton on my mind! In no particular order, somethings I have been pondering...

• When Helping Hurts by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert... I have been wanting to read this for over a year and have finally gotten around to reading it.  I would put it on a must read list for all.  It is a perspective changer for anyone doing ministry.

• Going back to college... sort of anyways. Andrew started as a Campus minister at GSU so we have been hanging out at the BCM again, and eating at the dining hall.  I have even helped with some ZTA stuff.  It is fun... and weird!

• Scripture memory for the family.  We don't do this enough.  I am up for suggestions on how other families make this a priority.  I think I may hang some on the bathroom mirror and the kitchen cabinets?

• It is almost football season :)

• My dysfunctional jump drive. This about made me want to cry yesterday.  IT just stopped working.  Unfortunately I had just gotten ahead on my preschool lesson plans... and lost it all. Oh well!

• Speaking of preschool... I am LOVING it.  It is the perfect job to have with BD!  Her teachers give her so much attention.  I get to teach a little... and teach the fun stuff.  Seriously, if you have checked out my pintrest lately it is dominated by preschool lessons that, get this, I am actually using!

She talks to her giraffe ALL the time... how cute is that :)

• Loving every minute with BD. Enough said!

• Living small.  We currently live in a one bedroom apartment and I love it.  Our one bedroom is big, so I could roll with a two bedroom when we move, but seriously, this works!  First the cleaning is easy peasy.  Second BD is right with me, no matter where I am in the house.  I do feel like we have a little bit too much stuff... hopefully we will do a clean out soon! :)

• Learning to cook... and getting there, slowly but surely.

That's all... until I think of something else.  What's on you mind lately?
