5 things this week...

Linking up with

one

Loving me some EBAY... been selling random stuff, mainly clothes.  We made our first $100! Sure beats the clothing just sitting in our closets!

two

Put Bailey Drew in her first Halloween costume, for the very first time for a Halloween event.  I don't think she smiled the whole time she was wearing it, between the beak, the hood and the stuffed body suit... she was unimpressed. Maybe next week she will enjoy it more?

three

Loving fall. In fact I wrote a whole post about how much I am loving it!

four

This chunk is 7 months old (cue tears) and I just cant believe it... just look at how much she has changed in the past 7 months!

five

We talked about Romans 8 in Bible study last night... here is a teaser but you should really go read all of it!

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  1. Visiting from the Five on Friday linkup! I love Ebay for selling items we no longer use! We usually put the money toward vacations! We've paid for Grand Canyon and Disney that way! Thanks for sharing the post about Romans - one of my favorite studies!

  2. Ebay is awesome! I love selling stuff and scoring great deals on there as well. You could totally run your own online thrift store using Ebay.

  3. Do you usually end up selling everything you post on ebay? I think I need some more ideas about successful selling on ebay!
