Boy or Girl?

Anyone who has talked to me knows that I have no feeling either way whether this baby is a boy or a girl.  In fact my track record is not good either… I think every prediction I have made for friends have been incorrect.  Sooooo… instead of sharing my thoughts, I thought I would share what some of the old wives tales say!

Chinese Calendar:

Craving: Sweet or Salty

Bump: High or Low
High??? Never sure about this one this early...

Shape: Watermelon or Basketball
Basketball??? Never sure about this one either this early...

Carrying Weight: Hips/rear or Out front
Out front

Morning Sickness: Yes or No

Protein Cravings: No or Yes

Sleep: Right Side or Left Side
Back and forth and wake up on my back a lot (I know I am not supposed to sleep on my back… I am trying not to)

Girl Dream-  I dreamt I had a baby girl that weighed 10 lbs 1 oz and was 22 inches long (specific right).
Boy Dream-  I dreamt just last night that when we went to the anatomy scan we found out we were having a boy.

Feeling: Moody or Happy

Headaches: No or Yes

Heart Rate: High or Low
Is it bad that I don't remember?  I want to say it was right in the average range around 140

As much fun as this is only time will tell...

So what do you think?  Boy or Girl?

Come back and find out!  I plan on sharing this weekend sometime!

  1. so fun! we were convinced we were having a boy (not sure why!) and then found out we're expecting a girl!! either way it's such a fun and exciting time! congrats. xo jillian - stop by! I'm hosting two great giveaways for mamas on cornflake dreams

  2. I can't wait to see what it is!!! How exciting!! I am thinking a boy :)

  3. I had precisely one dream that I was having a girl, and that's what I had! Not sure about the rest of the predictions for me.
And, that top pic - she looks thrilled haha.

  4. We have two boys. Both times, I thought they were girls. With our next one, I basically know whatever I'm feeling, it'll be the opposite. ;-)

  5. I think it will be a boy. Most of those were the same with me when I was pregnant with my son. I can't wait until you find out. Thanks so much for linking up to H54F!

  6. It's so exciting not, for me the pressure is off when it comes to personal expectations and dealing with family/friends.

I had some similar things with Baby Boy and some not, so I'm not sure....

Oh a quick thing about trying not to sleep on your back. I literally surrounded myself with pillows, so that it wasn't easy for me to flip onto my stomach (I'm a big stomach sleeper), but I think it might help when it comes to back, too.

  7. I could tell by how I was carrying and how sick I was. I was right each time!

  8. This is such a great idea for a post!!!

Thanks for linking up with us at H54F:)
