BD 2 1/2 years...

Oh Bailey Drew... When did I have to stop counting months and have to start counting years? I am trying not to blink, but each time I do you are another day older.

2.5 years… You talk so much and understand more than I ever imagined you would at this point.   Your personality is booming.   You are spunky, in charge and have a great sense of humor. You have leadership qualities and perseverance… we are praying that we will be able to steer you well in those qualities! You run and jump (or try to at least). You have "big friends" and "little friends" and love them both! Your favorite thing to do is to read books… I think you would sit and listen to a chapter book if we tried it. You love movies too. You are all about a party. School is your favorite, you come home and tell us about Jesus, lost coins and friends. You love Disney.  I never imagined taking you ayr 2 years old would have such an impact but you ask all the time, "Can we go to Disney today?" and tell us about the trip and draw pictures of it too. You are potty trained, and still very proud of your self for that (as are we :)). You LOVE your little brother so much.  You talk about him, read to him, hug him, take care of him.   You are a helper.
Each day we pray for you. That you will walk in the truth of the Gospel.  That you will give thanks in everything and truly learn to talk to God and listen.  That you will know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  
Even as I write this it is quite possible that I will blink again and you will be 3… but I am going to soak in 2 1/2 today :)
