Friday Round Up...

ONE

I have not been this excite about a post/series in a while:
No Spend September Time :)
http://www.ourlifeonabudget.com/2016/08/no-spend-month-goals.html
There is a free printable to get you started and come back over the next few weeks I have some more helpful tips as well.

TWO

I got a simple Target planner at the beginning of the year and it was falling apart.  After much thought, I got a new planner... and I LOVE it.
It is a Passion Planner.  They have an August- July version, January-December version, and an unmarked version (I got the August- July version.)
Y'all have a favorite planner?  I would love to hear about it :)
ALSO... here are a few of my must have planner "accessories"

THREE

Philippians 4:4-7 says “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; ***do not be anxious about anything***, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Emphasis mine).

Sometimes I justify my stress, but it is not justified at all, it just shows a lack of faith. This week it took an afternoon full of moment by moment prayer and sometime at a park to let it go and fully trust God!

  1. I love the idea of no spend months and really need to attempt to do one. I'm so bad at it :( September might be a good month for me though. Maybe I will participate!

  2. Love visiting you as your neighbor at #WhatJoyIsMine. Your suggestion months of not spending is intriguing. Have not heard of that before. I know when I was working that we saved any month where there was an extra payday and that was a help.

  3. Stasia...This is a fabulous idea to move along those of us who are on the journey to be debt free. And it is very doable. BTW, I use the Happy Planner found at Michaels. Thank you for sharing Monday's Musings. :-)
