Anyways... Where are we going? I realize neglected to include that in my last post... guess I was just processing leaving!
We will be heading to Georgia Southern University in Statesburo, Georgia... Contain your excitement please:)! Andrew has accepted an internship at the BCM there... Yes, that means this is another state of temporary. We will be there until May 2014... Then who knows!

As for our time there, it will be different. I have never really been a small town girl... And honestly I thought New Orleans felt small compared to growing up in Atlanta! You know a place is small when you ask what there is to do there and they list other cities you could travel to that are close by.
It will be harder to commit to as well, only being there less than a year. We will invest, get involved, and chances are, be uprooted again. But I am reminded that God wants us to be where we are... There is a reason for this season, no matter how short it is. We are committed to our calling there and will be "all in" in Statesburo!

ReplyDeleteMy husband went to Ga Southern and loved it! I know it's not ATL or Athens, but to small town folks like us it has really grown even since he left :)
Plus you'll have that sweet girl to keep you busy!
