5 on Friday

Andrew and I always joke around how when there is one thing going on for us there are a million… things just tend to come in waves. Right now we have a eve of things that we are just so thankful for, that are "good" things… but sometimes it goes the other way and we strive to be thankful the same. How about y'all?  Do you have a wave happening in your life or are you in the still?

Andrew was ordained on Sunday.  I really should write a whole post reflecting on this because it has been a crazy, incredible and difficult journey all at the same time.

Yesterday was my birthday and it really was one of those days where you feel special.  Andrew made sure the day was special… he arrange for eating at my favorite restaurant Takosushi (I mean, tacos and such how can you really beat that?).  By BFF Leah also met me for breakfast and came to dinner.  Even at school my kiddos wrote me cards and surprised me with cupcakes (that part was probably their parents).  I received messages, letters, texts and calls.  They really made my day.  AND we got not one but two Lowe's gift card… very necessary because of our number three.

We are closing on a house on Thursday!  I am nervous and excited all at the same time.  We are trying to get a contractor in quick to take down a wall before we more in.  We also need to use those Lowe's gift cards to get some paints and blind for the windows.  You can checkout my Pinterest for some of my ideas for paint colors.

So that being said we will begin the moving process again in a week getting us into our 6th home in 6 years.

And in less than two weeks we find out if baby S is a boy or girl.  I wonder if BD has a preference :)!
Whew… things will probably slow down… never :)

  2. Congrats to your hubby {and your family!} on his ordination! Also, congrats on your home! Six homes in six years makes me tired just thinking of all the packing and unpacking you had to do. You must be a pro now! {Hello from the link up!}
