Friday Favorites...

I'm This week… you know those weeks that end up… the messy, overwhelming ones.  YES.  But today is a new day and I am ready…
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”
—Isaiah 12:2

So... a couple weeks ago I wrote about how our 3 Day potty training experience was a total fail, but I knew BD could do it whenever she was ready.  Well, right after I wrote that she decided it was time to be potty trained… and I am scared to say it but she seems to be 100% day trained and will even go when we are out and about!  Night and nap are still in process,  but that is okay.  I wonder if we will have any regression when baby J comes around.

Catch up on a little pregnancy news… some how I will be 37 WEEKS tomorrow.  Say what?  I missed my post this week (remember it was crazy :))… but I will share an update this weekend :)

I did manage to share our Baby Boy Nursery reveal (it was done and the pictures were already taken).  We are so excited about Jameson's little space, even though he will not care that much… on the contrary BD is pretty excited.

Last Friday we of course took advantage of doughnut day.  Free doughnuts always taste better… sorry Jameson for the sugar rush!

BD has been cracking me up lately (and always).  Her personality is just there…
*When she wakes up in the morning before me she gets out of bed silently and walks to wherever I am with her hair in her face so I can't see her eyes (think creepy, like the ring) and just stands there until I see her.
*Yesterday she woke up early so she said, "I study Bible with mommy" … day made.

*She poses for pictures even when they are not being taken saying… "cheese."
*And says "ta-da"
* Reads her books and I can actually hear her talking through the story!
*Among other things :)

How has your week been??? :)

    1. I know… you only hear the success stories of the three day method… but it does not always work!!! And this is such a fun age… we are soaking in every minute!

  3. Hi, Stasia! I smiled as soon as I saw your "That Time We Tried..." picture. Ha! I am mom to one teen and one tween and just wrote a blog post called "An Apology to My Firstborn." #1 on the list of mea culpas? "I'm sorry for being so mean to you about the potty training"! NOT that you're being mean, of course. But I was. :( Oh, the trials of the learner child. I left my second daughter alone about it, and she pretty much trained herself. And no one cried. Blessings on your day! :)
