We've made it to another Friday! Just some thoughts for the week...
One.
Savannah Half Marathon... tomorrow!!!!!!!! (Read- nervous out of my mind).
I keep reminding myself I have run 13 miles before and that this is no different just because it is an official event. I am also nervous because I will be spending my first night ever away from BD. Maybe that will make it easier to finish... the quicker I finish the quicker I get back to BD! :) Hopefully next week I will be writing about how well it went...
Two.
Andrew and I took BD to her first football game this past Saturday! Sadly it was not a UGA game...
but we like Georgia Southern okay ;). BD only took a 40 minute nap all day... and was still so happy. What 7 month old can make it on a 40 minute nap? She is such a ball of energy.
Three.
I think I saw on pintrest some time ago sensory boxes for babies... or maybe I am making it up? Anyways... I made a metallic sensory bin for BD and she loved it!
I also realize looking at this picture that she is getting rug burn on her belly from army crawling all over the APT.
Four.
This Dietrich Bonhoeffer quote from Life Together- "Nothing can be more cruel than the tenderness that consigns another to his sin. Nothing can be more compassionate than the severe rebuke that calls a brother back from the path of sin."
Five.
The other night I had Andrew get BD ready for bed... and this is what I found!
So funny :) Daddy was just all about playing with her. And can you just take a moment to appreciate her chunkiness? I mean, I have to literally pry those thighs out of the bumbo... if I can even get them in their in the first place.
When daddies put babies to bed it doesnt go the way mommy does it :) My husband does the exact same thing--you have to give them credit for wanting to have fun and be the cool parent :) So cute!!!
