Five on Friday...

I told you last week we would be closing on our house this week.  But as I was told could happen, our closing date has changed :(.  We will be closing a week from today, pending no crazy changes again! Praying for a successful close next week because we have a renovation scheduled soon after!

That being said, have you checked out our home journey?  We have lived in 6 homes in the last 6 years!  It has been an exciting journey!

I have been reading Women of the Word: How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds.  The book has boon good especially the last chapter I read about reading your Bible with purpose.  Most of us read our Bibles thinking… what can we get out of this instead of focusing on what we can learn about God.  We should read our Bible looking for the big story each time not just looking at the little section we are reading.  Everything we read connects back to either creation, the fall, redemption or restoration (or often a combination).  Reading the Bible looking at the big picture is changing the way I study! :)

If you don't follow me on Instagram you might of missed the fact that I had all three of my meals at Chick-fil-a the other day.  Not even sure how it happened, but it did and it was amazing.  I promise we usually do eat healthy and two of my meals were salads ;)

    I wish I had a chik fil a closer! I only get cravings on Sundays, go figure!
