Friday Favorites...

one

Anyone else out there volunteer with a summer VBS.  I am getting pretty pumped about ours coming up next week!!!  I will be leading with the rising Kindergarteners… hopefully my soon to be 36 week pregnant self can keep up!  Praying for and excited to be sharing Christ with these littles and their families!!!

Speaking of pregnancy… not I am not about to burst nor am I having twins… but I am having 1 baby in about a month (maybe less).  Here is my 35 week update! :)

I do not claim to be a crafty person at all… but I went to this door hanging party this week… and look what I made!!!  Guess with enough help you can do anything :)

five

I am seriously craving the beach (and so is BD and Andrew)… maybe we will squeeze in another trip or two before baby… maybe that is ambitious!

And thank you for the comment on the outfit… makes me feel like I don't look quite so much like a beached whale (I kid :))

  6. Great post on doing Disney with a toddler! My daughter is almost two, and goes absolutely bananas when she sees Cinderella's castle in a Disney World commercial. We'll probably have to take her in the next year or so! :) Enjoy your final month of pregnancy!

    1. Thanks… just hope it finds it way to other families and is helpful! I am sure your daughter will love it. Everytime our daughter sees the Disney castle at the beginning of a move she goes bananas too and chants "Disney!"

  10. Oh my goodness! That picture of BD on the beach, so cute and funny!

I'm actually skipping helping with VBS this year. Between my blog currently being a full-time job, the 30 minute drive to church, and the fact that my daughter is a year too young for VBS but a little too old to be cooped up in the nursery all morning, just not going to work out. Last summer I was a pre-k assistant teacher and it was rough. My daughter didn't do well and I did nothing else that week but drive, teach, and sleep.

  12. Stasia...We used to help out with VBS when our kids were little and enjoyed helping. Now did you go to WDW or DL? We are big Disneyland fans and usually go every November. We've taken our kids since they were all about 18 months of age so they've grown to love this tradition. Thank you for sharing your life at Monday's Musings. :-)
