Getting back in the swing of things post pregnancy includes many things...
*Snuggling your newborn.
*Playing with your toddler.
*And trying to figure out what in the world you are going to wear while you still don't fit in any of your clothes!
So for fun and motivation… I am posting a weekly
*What we wore*

I never realized that taking BD to Disney at just barely two would have such an impact on her life.  We went back in April and she still talks about it all.the.time!  Just yesterday she said, "How about we go to Disney today."  I have been trying to explain to her that it will probably be a few years….
That being said, if you are taking a trip there and have a baby, toddler or are pregnant… I have some tips…

Rest. God has reminded me about resting this week.  Between 3 separate meetings at our house, 2 toddlers and an array of other activities… I thought I could get by on a few hours of sleep.
FALSE
That is a recipe for sickness and I am recovering and choosing to rest.
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.
In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleepto those he loves. Psalm 127:1-2

It is not about spinning my wheels so much, but letting go and letting God do what HE wants!

How was your week???

  1. Stopping by from the HF4F link up. I'm so excited football is starting again - my husband and I are huge Georgia football fans (even if we live in Kentucky). Hoping you can get some rest this weekend. We all push ourselves too much at times. Have a great weekend.
