JL 7 Month...

Jameson Luke 7 Months…

Jameson vs BD at about this age.

 Monthly Milestones...

*If there was any doubt at the end of last month… we are definitely full fledged crawling now!

*Almost pulling myself up on things!  I can definitely pull myself up to my knees.

*My first snow… obviously I loved it!

*Not really a milestone… but two ear infections this month.  Praying for no more!

*Tons of babbling.

*Out grew infant car seat.

*Go from laying to sitting and vis versa

Favorite Things...

*Still love my sister … most of the time!

*Singing "best friends" with her.

*I already love balls.  When I see them I bounce up and down and want to play with them!

*My exersaucer…

Especially with my sister, she likes to dance with me and pull her chair up and play too!

*Eating paper… I try to do it every chance I get!

*Being outside!  We actually had a few ward days we could enjoy it!

*I love singing and dancing.

*I love eating.

Least Favorite Things…

*When my parents don't let me eat cupcakes (or anything else they are eating for that matter).

*Being put in the stroller or carseat (notice there are absolutely no pictures of this!)

*Being dropped off at the nursery.

Weight…

Coming in at 24 lbs 3 oz!

Height...

I assume he is right around 30 inches.

Clothing Size…

*We are still mostly in 12 months, but definitely stretching it at this point… I need to pull out the 18 month stuff!

Sleep Patterns…

Naps… you take 2-3 a day.  They are usually 20 minutes- an hour.  Trying to work you up to a longer nap… but you just wake up read to play.

You were sleeping with us at night at the beginning of the beginning of the night.  then you started eating three meals and started sleeping through the night in your crib.  Then ear infections caused night waking again.  So maybe once we get those under control you will be a champ at night again!

Eating Patterns…

*You are still doing baby led weaning this month!  You went from eating nothing… to demanding three meals a day!  Seriously, you so much as see us lick a spoon and you think it is time for food.  You show us by bouncing and grunt (though we are *trying* to teach you sign language).  You eat all sorts of fruits and vegetables, eggs, beans and more.  We will probably really start expanding your selection this month!  You still nurse every 3 hours or so too.

Outings and Celebrations…

*Mama's birthday

*Valentine's day- we watched a movie in a fort.  There should have been cute pictures of my sister and I but I pooped on my outfit.

Nicknames…

*Mini- Andrew
*Drool Monster
*Grump master
*Jman

Things others have said about you...

*"He looks so much like Andrew"… this is said almost every single day!
*"He is so big!"
*"How much does he weigh?"
*"He already likes eating a lot"

Things we have noticed about you…

*You are so chill, except when you are not- then you lose it!
*You and your sister already have such a special relationship.
*You do not want to be left behind.  Case and point the early crawling.  If I walk somewhere with BD you are sure to be close behind.
*You seem to be more of a dare devil and are already pushing BD to try some things she usually doesn't do-(like lay down in the bath tub.

For Jameson Luke…

This is the point where things start to go really fast.  I feel like the first 6 months were at least slow enough that I could really take them in.  This month it felt like I blinked and a month past.  No more of that please!

You are mobile and fun and full of personality.  You are already challenging us (in good ways) and teaching us things.  Our family is more fun with you and we love that you go with the flow :)

Each day we pray for you.  That your heart will come to know the Lord and that you will impact this world for Him!

And… all the pictures…

  2. Oh my goodness, your son is so darling! Thanks for sharing all these cute pictures. I loved reading about all the things he's doing. It's so neat to see the bond between siblings.
