38 weeks...

38 Weeks!!!

This dress will make another appearance in our family/maternity phots and will hopefully look better there ;)

How Far Along? 38 weeks… and "little" buddy can come any day now.  We had an ultrasound and their prediction was that he already weighed 9 lbs 9oz.  No wonder I look like I am about to pop!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Around 40-45 pounds… maybe if I knew my actual start weight on this I would know exactly ;)

Baby Related Purchases: I made a final list of things we need to get using our gift cards and tried to make my list so we could end up paying as little out of pocket as possible.  I think we will just try to get  some gel nursing pads, breast pump part replacements and an additional camera for our video monitor.  And then we are set for the time being! (Though I would love a double jogging stroller… a girl can dream right???)

Maternity Clothes:  Mainly dresses and shorts with maternity tops… my style is a little lacking.  You will have to cut me some slack.

Sleep: Loving my sleep… just trying to get as much as possible so I can be ready when go time comes!

Movement: He is rocking and rolling all over the place… surprised he can still find space to move.

What I miss: Still just want to be back in my regular clothes!

Cravings: Ice cream, spicy food, egg sandwiches… what a combo.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No… still indigestion and heartburn!

Gender: It's a boy!!!

Labor Signs: Not a one… but don't think I had any last time until I went into labor.

Symptoms: Huge belly, heart burn/indigestion, some awesome veins popping out of my legs (these *mostly* went away last time after I had BD so I am hoping g for the same this time)

Best moments this week:
*Getting to see baby J on the Ultrasound!  We found out about how big he is and that he has hair :)

Looking forward to:
*Beach trip today!!!  (Praying that baby J waits until our return to come).
*Meeting baby J! :)

Size of Baby: The size of a leek… but we really know he is quite a bit bigger ;)

For the little:

Our Jameson…
We got to see you moving this week on the ultra sound.  It is amazing to thing that sometime the next two weeks (hopefully :) please do not come late :)) we will actually get to hold you!  They told us you were big and had hair.  I am excited to see what you will look like, but I am most excited to see what you will be like.  What kind of personality and gifts will God have given you!

This morning I was praying this verse over you and your sister…
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13
We pray for your salvation and hope to be found in Christ.:)

Can't wait to meet you!:)

  4. You're sooo close! :) Hopefully your "little" man will come any day now! To make you feel better about them saying he's close to 9 pounds 9 oz., my sister in law was just recently told there her baby was getting close to 9 pounds, but when she had him he was 7 pounds 10 oz! Maybe he's actually a bit smaller!
