40 Weeks...

40 Weeks!!! Well surprise surprise (not really)… Happy 4th and here we are still pregnant!

PS… as you can see I wore almost the exact same outfit for the 4th last year… re wearing for kicks… because it is clean... and because it is one of the only things that fits :)
PSS… my face is definitely a little swollen :)

Again… even as I write this I wonder if I will go into labor at any moment and never actually get to post it… but alas, I am sure it will be shared ;)

How Far Along? 40 Weeks!  I CANNOT believe we have arrived at the due date.  I think I was just so hopeful he would come early… but it appears that he will be "late" just like BD.
Side note… if you read my Friday post yesterday… you heard about the best most wonderful comment that has ever been said to me (hopefully you will understand that this statement is dripping with sarcasm).

Total Weight Gain/Loss: hmmmmm… a lot!  And maybe I will lose a lot this week too ;)

Baby Related Purchases: I have had a gift card to Boden for almost a year now and put a cute little sleeper in the cart for him… but then looked in his room and remembered all the clothes he already has… that he possibly will only wear once.  Maybe that gift card will be used on a special post baby outfit for me!

Maternity Clothes:  I think I am going to wear the same thing I wore last 4th of July just for a comparison… you think I kid… watch out Instagram there is a comparison shot coming.

Sleep:
Sleep? Great!
Getting up to use the restroom? All the time.
Flipping from side-to-side? A lot.

Movement: Some time I get worried because he can no longer do summersaults… then I remember that he is probably 10 lbs.
PS… he never has had hiccups!  Is this weird or normal?  BD had them all the time… then when she was born she had them all the time… maybe this means he won't have them?

What I miss: My clothes, working out, being able to get up without having to hoist myself up...

Cravings: Food.  All the time.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No… still indigestion and heartburn!

Gender: It's a boy!!!

Labor Signs: Nope… not a one.  I mean I feel like I am dropping and sometimes people will tell me that… then the next person will say "You are so high!"  Which is it???

Symptoms: Huge belly, heart burn/indigestion, some awesome veins popping out of my legs (these *mostly* went away last time after I had BD so I am hoping for the same this time)… let's just be honest- compression tights/leggings are just unrealistic when it is 105 heat index out, really tired at night, just ready over all :)

Best moments this week:
*Going to one of those really fun trampoline places… disclaimer… I did not jump- I watched

*Play dates
*Movie at the movie theatre with BD
*Studying the Bible with BD

*Wedding last weekend

Looking forward to:
*Baby J making his arrival… hopefully this week!!!!  Beyond this we don't have much planned at this point ;)

Size of Baby: The size of a small (or medium sized in my case ;)) pumpkin.

For the little:

Our Jameson…

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Praying this over your sweet heart this morning.

And waiting on your arrival… you are welcome to come, we are ready!

    1. Haha… well it was completely cotton and stretchy… I am much bigger than last year but somehow made it work. I do not like to buy a lot of maternity clothes!!!

  6. Ahh I have the same "labor signs" as you! I swear everyone has been telling me "you've dropped!" but I don't feel any different and I think my bump looks just as high as its always been! Then someone will come along and be like "oh.. you're still so high." Geez.. which is it?! Haha! :)
